About the Department

The Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2007 with a mission to develop highly skilled engineers capable of building and sustaining the physical and natural environment. It offers a premier undergraduate program (B.Tech) along with postgraduate opportunities designed to address the evolving challenges of modern infrastructure and urbanization. The department is equipped with well-established laboratories covering key domains such as Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Surveying. Our experienced and dedicated faculty members place a strong emphasis on practical exposure, sustainable design practices, and cutting-edge research. By combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on technical training, the department ensures that students are well-prepared to excel in construction management, structural design, public works, and civil infrastructure development.

Aspire to reach higher quality benchmarks in training students on all skills expected of a civil engineering professional through a meticulously planned yet flexible learning process administered through the following: Design and develop curriculum for UG of Civil Engineering that adds value to student competencies abreast with changing industry needs. Impart students with knowledge of Civil Engineering and use of modern tools and provide the best learning resources. Provide an enabling environment to equip students to serve the society as leading professionals, academicians, innovators and entrepreneurs. Promote and undertake academic research to address societal challenges. Provide testing and design consulting services to the industry and create Industry-Academia synergy for improving employability of students.
